Reiki Trainings
Reiki Level I & II are the first and second of three levels of training and certification that you take on your way to becoming a Reiki Master. You can begin practicing Reiki on yourself and others after the first class, as well as offer Reiki healing sessions professionally as a certified Level I Reiki Practitioner.
What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced “RAY-kee”) is an energy healing technique that promotes energetic balance and physical healing. This technique was re-discovered in Japan during the late 1800s and introduced in the United States in the early 1900s.
Reiki is administered by laying hands on or holding hands over the person receiving the treatment. Reiki is the name for the gentle energy that naturally moves through all of us (the same as Prana, Chi, or Ki described in spiritual traditions).
When we learn to give Reiki to another, we are channeling that universal life force energy through us and to the client. If you ever asked your Mother to put her hand on a bruise or scrape when you were a child, she may have been doing the same for you. Remember how quickly she was able to make you feel better?
The Benefits of Reiki
Reiki promotes balance of our entire Self (body, mind, emotions, and spirit). As it does so, Reiki naturally calms our sympathetic nervous system also known as the anxious (fight-or-flight) mode and activates our parasympathetic nervous system bringing us into the (rest and digest) mode. Reiki balances our mental and emotional states, enhancing our body’s own self-healing response which assists the body in detoxification.
Additional Benefits of a Reiki Session:
Creates a calming and peaceful state of relaxation
Improves sleep quality and assists in the ability to sleep
Releases stress, anxiety, tension, and energy blockages
Relieves chronic pain
Promotes healing after surgery or after an injury
Activates and supports the body’s immune system
Alleviates depression and promotes happiness
Improves self esteem
“A healer's power stems not from any special ability, but from maintaining the courage and awareness to embody and express the universal healing power that every human being naturally possesses.”
- Eric Micha'el Leventhal

Scott Van Voris, Holistic Practitioner
Hi there. I’m Scott. Glad to meet you here.
I am a Reiki Master and Holistic Practitioner at The Path Wellness Center. I have been treating clients with Reiki for over five years now and it is still my favorite healing tool. I am able to feel energy moving within my own body as well as the body of others. I am also able to perceive physical sensations in my clients like pain, tension, etc. Additionally, I can feel the emotions that may be stored or stuck in different parts of the body. This is a gift that arrived spontaneously after I had a life changing spiritual experience. You can read more about it by clicking the link below
If the world needs more of anything right now, it needs more healers. I’m excited you are considering becoming a Reiki healer. Let go of all doubt and know that you are reading this because you are a healer, and the world is waiting for you to step into your gifts and begin your personal journey toward your own healing as you learn to heal others.

How is the Reiki training structured?
