Reiki Level I Training
Next Training: Saturday, September 14th, 9am-5pm
Reiki (pronounced “RAY-kee”) is an energy healing technique that promotes energetic balance and physical healing. Reiki promotes balance of our entire Self (body, mind, emotions, and spirit). As it does so, Reiki naturally calms our sympathetic nervous system also known as the anxious (fight-or-flight) mode and activates our parasympathetic nervous system bringing us into the (rest and digest) mode. Reiki balances our mental and emotional states, enhancing our body’s own self-healing response which assists the body in detoxification.
In this course you will learn:
The history of Reiki.
Ethics and the Reiki principles of practice.
The 5 Reiki precepts.
The human energy system and the seven chakras.
The human body and typical locations of emotional blocks.
Self treatment using Reiki and the Reiki hand positions.
How to perform a Reiki treatment on another person using the proper hand positions.
How to properly open and close a Reiki session.
Techniques for clearing yourself before and after a session.
The Reiki attunements to calibrate your own energy system and improve your ability to offer Reiki to yourself and others.
